Endgrain Designer is a free browser-based tool for planning endgrain cutting boards. It helps makers explore patterns, dimensions, wood choices, material estimates, and build steps before cutting into real stock.
Why it exists
Endgrain boards can be beautiful, but the planning can quickly become fiddly: strip widths, row offsets, kerf, waste, final thickness, wood combinations, and cut lists all affect the final result. This tool turns those moving parts into a visual, adjustable design workflow.
What the tool does
